HAAAVAD with a bunch of Wicked SMAHT kids!

A quick tour of Harvard Campus/Square turned into an, unintentional, all day/night event! We walked around the campus, smoked cigars, pub hopped and TRIED to master the Boston accent at MATT DAA-MON's expense! If anyone has seen Team America, you'd understand!! TOO FUNNY! Anyway, we had some great laughs and decided to call it a night before we became "wicked re-tah-ded"!!!

My friend Suzanne had a small get together at her house so I took Valerie and her business partner Judy with me. Suzanne has a gorgeous home and sure knows how to host a party!

Too Busy to Blog!

Rowdy and I have been really busy, so I haven't had much time to blog. I can barely keep up with phone calls for that matter! Oct just flew right by!! First off, we had a wonderful visit with Marcie, Rowdy's mom, from the 19th-29th! I had to work many of the days , so I couldn't join in on some of the fun! Pooey! They did hit most of the tourist attractions though, including the New England Aquarium and, of course, the "infamous" Trolley Ride(NOT sorry I missed)! I would post photos, but they were being very naughty and didn't take many!!

Our friends Travis and Valerie are flying in from Kansas City today for the weekend! Can't wait to see them!

I'll try and catch up on the rest of my blogging when I can. Have a great weekend!

We ventured off to Salem, Mass, home of the infamous Salem Witch Trials! It's such a neat place and only a 20 minute drive from where we live. Everything about this town breaths, eats and sleeps WITCHES, Ghosts and Goblins! They have tours, haunted houses, street vendors, plays, reenactments of the witch trials, you name it, going on for the whole month of Oct! We walked the trail and took a witch tour, but decided to skip the haunted houses...I was too scared!

Movie Night!

Rowdy, Marcie(Rowdy's Mom) and I went to see The Departed last night! It was AMAZING and the whole thing was based in Boston, which made it even better...well, for me anyway!!! I would definitely recommend!

Brian's Visit- Day 2!

Well, unfortunately, I had to work the following day, so the boys were on their own! These are the ONLY pictures they took all day! IMAGINE THAT! Well, we know for sure they had lobster! Anywhooo, I tried to get out of them what they did all day, but I got some story about a loose pepper and a magician??? I guess we had to be there! HA! HA! Did you get the same story, Samantha?! Well, All the matters is they had a good time!

Smokin' some C-GARS at HAAAVAD!

Brian had a TDY to Boston last week and decided to stay a couple extra days to hang out with us. We spent most of the afternoon and all night hanging out around Harvard Square. We started off at Grendel's Den, a popular Harvard hangout, but since they didn't have a TV to watch his beloved Oakland A's, Rowdy allowed just enough time to scarf down BIG pretzels and a couple beers, before we were off to the next place, Tommy Doyle's. We had some dinner, watched the A's lose, and then moved on to Whitney's, a tiny pub, to watch the Cardinal's WIN! We had a really good time!

I just wanted to send out a BIG MUCHO GRACIAS to everyone who acknowledged me on my Birthday ,Thurs, even though I'm getting "WICKED" OLD!! (I just had to throw in some Boston Slang!HA) I received some really thoughtful gifts, cards, phone calls, serenades, texts, emails, blog postings, you name it! I especially enjoyed my Boston Cream Cake and hour long, Deep Tissue Massage at the Spa, courtesy of Rowdy!

Sat Night

Debbie flew into town this weekend with her friend Ryan, so Sat night we went out to dinner at Out of the Blue, in Davis Squre, followed by some dancing at the Burren. According to our photos, we had a great time, but most of them came out blurry! Gotta blame the wine!

Rowdy and I went on base today to pick up his car, and on the way home, I TRIED to take some photos of the trees, while driving. I didn't do a good job, but it's the most beautiful fall

Maine Cont....

The next day was gloomy ,unlike the day before, but we still managed to do a little sight seeing around Maine. We also stopped by the outlet malls in Kittery, Maine on our way home. The whole town is an outlet mall with a ton of stores. Surprisingly, Rowdy was doing most of the shopping! I was just too tired to shop!

Rowdy showed up just in time for us to drive to York, Maine the next morning for Chris and Caroline's Wedding. (It's about an hour from our place). It was a beautiful location and day for a wedding. We also had a mini Cheyenne reunion, but I didn't really have the chance to take many photos.

Later that evening, we all headed out for some Maine Lobster(no photos, sorry).

It was good to see everyone!
