SO COLD!

It was absolutely FREEZING here today! I'm so glad that furry little groundhog didn't see his shadow! He just better be right on having an early spring! Fortunately, we've been very lucky to have such a mild winter, so I can't complain! The whole country seems to have experienced some interesting weather. It even snowed in AZ when I was there. Now that was weird!!!
Thank You!

Johnny
Sorry I haven't updated in awhile. This will be a difficult post for me. I had an unexpected tragedy in my family. My youngest brother Johnny(dad's son) passed away unexpectedly on Jan 13, 10 days after his 19th birthday. I'd been in Tucson, AZ till late Thurs, so I apologize if I've neglected to return phone calls. I still can't make sense of why this happened, but I know I need to learn to accept that he's gone.

One Tequila, Two Tequila, Three Tequila.....
FLOOR! Yeah, we met some friends poolside that day and joined them after dinner for a Tequila party! Probably NOT the best idea, but when in Rome.....

Myself, Jeremy, Rowdy, Charlie, and Danielle. Jeremy and Danielle are married and from Manhatten, NY and Charlie was from New Orleans. They were fun!
Still more to come.....
Private Dinner
The hotel gave Rowdy and I a private dinner overlooking the Sea for our honeymoon. It was very lovely.

Trip to Cozumel .......

We're back from our trip! We had a WONDERFUL time although the first day was a little rough. They didn't have our suite available, so we got stuck in a small room facing the street! I was NOT a happy camper considering we paid for a suite facing the Ocean for 6 days, not 5! They straightened it out the next day, THANK GOODNESS and then all was great!
Here are a few views from our balcony at different times and days throughout our trip! Bill Gates was also visiting and staying on his private yacht! It was quite extravagant! His helicopters would land on the boat, taking him to and from the reefs for scuba diving. Anyway, our room was lovely(well, once we got the suite) and stocked with everything one would need! We also enjoyed lounging in the hammock as often as time would allow!
More to come.......

Happy New Year!
New Year's Eve, we started the night with dinner at Grafton Street, in Harvard Square. They had a delicious menu of 3 course meals! Caroline and I had Filet Mignon, Rowdy had Lobster Thermador, and Damien had a leg of lamb! It was really very yummy!! We stayed for a few hours eating, chatting and enjoying our cocktails, before heading to Roshni's house to break in 2007!

Christmas Party
Rowdy's work had a Christmas Party lastThurs. I gather we had a good time because the party started at noon and we didn't get home till almost 9pm! Well, actually, we had 3 hours of scheduled fun, including singing, games, etc, at the Base Chapel and then took the party to the Base Club for our own fun! Once again, I really didn't have a chance to get many pictures.

AFA Christmas Party
The three of us with Mr. McD(below)

On Fri, we went to the Air Force Association Christmas Party @ the Marriott in Burlington, MA. Rowdy's co-worker Steve is the President and let's just say, they sure know how to throw a party! We all had an amazing time and dinner was delicious. We mingled most of the night with Rowdy's new boss Mr McD------ (aka Frank's dad). He even gave us some ballroom dancing tips! Unfortunately, I was only able to get a few photos towards the end of the evening.

Emily's Birthday Night

Thursday was Emily's Birthday, so we all headed downtown to the Aqua Bar andGrill in the Financial District for some cocktails and appetizers and then ended the evening at the Red Sky. Ben also drove into town from New Hampshire to hang out with us since we both had Fri off.
We all had a great time, as usual.
