St. Pats

Some really amazing play happened in the game...YAY! Scorpion Bowl...YUM!

We obviously went downtown for St. Pats, but didn't go into any of the Irish bars(AGAIN) since they were packed with just TOO many people! Apparently you have to get up at the butt crack of dawn to secure a spot...Um, NO Thanks! We went to Hong Kongs instead, which was right next door and just as crowded, but they opened the top level so we got a great spot!

Sam and Paula's Visit

My stepmom Paula and brother Sam came to visit us from Tucson last week and left this afternoon. I'm so glad they came, even though it was cold and snowy here! We still made the best of it and had a great time!

Salsa Dancing

Last Sat, we went for Salsa lessons at a club called Mohito's, in downtown, for Caroline's birthday. It was fun to try something new, even though we aren't the best salsa dancers. It's really much harder than it looks. Oh, in case you were wondering, Rowdy did not forget to wash his face in the photo above, but DID decided to grow a mustache with some co-workers for the month of March (aka Mustachio March). After being heckled, seeing the pictures and listening to some unnecessary complaining from me, he realized how ridiculous he looked and shaved it off as soon as we got home. THANK GOODNESS...It was awful!

We went to a cider mill to have cider and donuts, wine tasting after, topped off with cheese tasting at Cabot Cheese. We also went to a glass blowing place to watch the process.

That pretty much sums up out Vermont visit!

We were suppose to go skiing, but the weather was -9 and too cold, so the resorts closed most of their ski lifts. We decided to go sight seeing instead and made a stop at the Ben and Jerry's Factory for a tour and ice cream!

We drove to Stowe, VT after a day of skiing in NH. We met all of Rowdy's co-workers at a restaurant called the Rusty Nail. They also had a bar made entirely out of ice! It was really neat, but SO COLD! We could only stay out there long enough to get some pictures and a shot!

Ski Trip

Fri we went on a ski trip to New Hampshire with Rowdy's work. We spent the day skiing there and then headed to Vermont for the night and another day of skiing. I'll post those pictures later.

Last Day!

Cozumel was wonderful! The people at the resort gave EXCEPTIONAL service. They made us feel like royalty and catered to our every need! We relaxed, snorkeled, para sailed, swam with dolphins, ate delicious food and desserts, had the finest wine and cocktails and met some really great people! I give our trip a 4.9/5.0. I would definitely recommend the Cozumel Palace Resorts to everyone!!!

This was the most exciting part of our trip! We got to swim, hug, kiss, and play with the dolphins for 30 minutes!!! They were SO adorable!!! I had to take pictures of the pictures we purchased, because I have yet to develop our waterproof camera. I will post those when I get them. Anyway, Rowdy and I were the only two in the water with them. Usually there's a group of 12 or more, but it was raining and cold, so no one else signed up!!! It was the best experience and so much fun!!!

Our University made CNN Headline news today for a bomb and anthrax scare! Some crazy kid was upset about his grades! How sad!

Mexican Fiesta Show

The making of "Sexy Coffee"...an Italian dessert coffee. I loved the presentations of the desserts almost as much as eating them!

On this night, we all enjoyed dinner at the Italian Restaurant. We also caught some of the Fiesta outside. Each night, the hotel had a different show to keep us entertained.

On the 4th day, we decided to go parasailing with Liz and her boyfriend Tim. Liz and I went up together and I'm SO SO glad, because I don't think I would've liked being up there alone! It was SO scary and SO fun all at once. I think I was more worried about landing in the ocean, with all the sea creatures and SHARKS, than anything!

Laura Laughlin

My eyes are filled with tears as I write this. Words alone cannot express how sorry I am to hear the news that Laura Laughlin has passed away. Everyone I know, that heard her story, was touched by it, as I was. She will continue to be an inspiration to me and will always remain in my thoughts. I want to express my deepest sympathy to her family and friends.

On this particular night, we went to the Mexican restaurant, at our hotel. We met some new friends(the night before at Asian while doing Saki bombs), that we ended up hanging out with the remainder of the trip. Rowdy wasn't in any of the photos because he and everyone elses significant others, were watching the game, so we were left to entertain ourselves! OH well....I think we had a better time! Still more to come.....
