House of Laziness!

We had a very nice and RELAXING Christmas Day, as you can see! We ate, slept and slept some more! The cats did much of the same!

Rowdy and I also went to see the "Pursuit of Happiness". It was a great movie!

Christmas Party

Bill, ME, Dom and Eric @the Club

Rowdy playing a game

Rowdy's work had a Christmas Party lastThurs. I gather we had a good time because the party started at noon and we didn't get home till almost 9pm! Well, actually, we had 3 hours of scheduled fun, including singing, games, etc, at the Base Chapel and then took the party to the Base Club for our own fun! Once again, I really didn't have a chance to get many pictures.

AFA Christmas Party

Dominique, ME and Ellen(above)
The three of us with Mr. McD(below)

On Fri, we went to the Air Force Association Christmas Party @ the Marriott in Burlington, MA. Rowdy's co-worker Steve is the President and let's just say, they sure know how to throw a party! We all had an amazing time and dinner was delicious. We mingled most of the night with Rowdy's new boss Mr McD------ (aka Frank's dad). He even gave us some ballroom dancing tips! Unfortunately, I was only able to get a few photos towards the end of the evening.

Emily's Birthday Night

Ben and Rowdy
Red Sky
Kristen, Emily, ME, Roshni, Harmony and Christy @Aqua

Thursday was Emily's Birthday, so we all headed downtown to the Aqua Bar andGrill in the Financial District for some cocktails and appetizers and then ended the evening at the Red Sky. Ben also drove into town from New Hampshire to hang out with us since we both had Fri off.
We all had a great time, as usual.

I spent my almost the entire day and night trying to get a nasty Backdoor Trojan virus off our computer. For some reason or another, our Norton's didn't detect it! I THINK, I got if off, but not certain. It's a sneaky devil! It just wasn't an excited way to spend my Sunday!

Art Show!

On the 18th we had an Art show with Charles Fazzino, a famous 3-D artist. I don't really care much for the style of art, but he was such a nice and very creative person. He even dedicated one of his books to me. He's actually working on it in the photo.

On Sat, we went into the city and started the day with some hot Clam"Chowda" at the Black Rose. Then took a tour of the city and YES, went on ANOTHER Trolley tour, but only because the boys had a Boston College Football game to go to! Val and I walked through Faneual Hall, Beacon Hill, Boston Common and the Park. It was such a gorgeous day outside!!! The sun was setting as we walked through the park, to Newbury Street, for some much needed shopping, topped off with dinner and cocktails!!

A Day at HAAAVAD!

Whitney's Pub
Tommy O Doyle's
Grafton Street

HAAAVAD with a bunch of Wicked SMAHT kids!
A quick tour of Harvard Campus/Square turned into an, unintentional, all day/night event! We walked around the campus, smoked cigars, pub hopped and TRIED to master the Boston accent at MATT DAA-MON's expense! If anyone has seen Team America, you'd understand!! TOO FUNNY! Anyway, we had some great laughs and decided to call it a night before we became "wicked re-tah-ded"!!!

Thurs Night

Me, Suzanne, Judy and Valerie
My friend Suzanne had a small get together at her house so I took Valerie and her business partner Judy with me. Suzanne has a gorgeous home and sure knows how to host a party!

Too Busy to Blog!

Rowdy and I have been really busy, so I haven't had much time to blog. I can barely keep up with phone calls for that matter! Oct just flew right by!! First off, we had a wonderful visit with Marcie, Rowdy's mom, from the 19th-29th! I had to work many of the days , so I couldn't join in on some of the fun! Pooey! They did hit most of the tourist attractions though, including the New England Aquarium and, of course, the "infamous" Trolley Ride(NOT sorry I missed)! I would post photos, but they were being very naughty and didn't take many!!

Our friends Travis and Valerie are flying in from Kansas City today for the weekend! Can't wait to see them!

I'll try and catch up on the rest of my blogging when I can. Have a great weekend!

I Pity the FOOL.....

who makes this statement.......

"You know, education, if you make the most of it, you study hard, you do your homework and you make an effort to be smart, you can do well. If you don't, you get stuck in Iraq."

WHAT AN IGNORANT ASS!!!!!

It just had to be said and I'll leave it at that!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!

Since I don't have any kids of my own or pets that would allow me to dress them up, I decided to post about how cute my friend, Kathy's, Halloween bunch looked! Aren't they adorable!!!!

SALEM, MA

The Custom House
Town Hall

Old Burying Point cemetery

We ventured off to Salem, Mass, home of the infamous Salem Witch Trials! It's such a neat place and only a 20 minute drive from where we live. Everything about this town breaths, eats and sleeps WITCHES, Ghosts and Goblins! They have tours, haunted houses, street vendors, plays, reenactments of the witch trials, you name it, going on for the whole month of Oct! We walked the trail and took a witch tour, but decided to skip the haunted houses...I was too scared!

SALEM, MASS..Cont

I got to hold a baby Alligator and YES, I was excited!!! He was kinda cute!

GO CARDS!!!!

Movie Night!

Rowdy, Marcie(Rowdy's Mom) and I went to see The Departed last night! It was AMAZING and the whole thing was based in Boston, which made it even better...well, for me anyway!!! I would definitely recommend!
