Nose Surgery

I have decided that this is the perfect time to FINALLY have my deviated septum corrected. I haven't been able to breath out of one of my nostrils for years now, which has caused me problems with sleeping, headaches, sinuses, etc, but I've been too scared to do it. I have an appt with an ENT Wed, for an eval and I hope that we can get the ball rolling!

Ski Trip

DC...HERE WE COME!

IT'S OFFICIAL!! We are moving to our nations capital in July. It's hard to believe our time in Boston is coming to an end, which makes me sad, but I am looking forward to the new adventure!! We haven't decided which area to live in, but it needs to be near the metro, because we are going down to one car! (I haven't been without a car since I was a teenager..YIKES!!!) If anyone has any suggestions, I would certainly appreciate the input.

New Year, New Beginnings!!

A huge weight has been lifted!!! I am done with school!!! I am currently on a hunt for a design job, which is obviously my number one priority, but I WILL resume my blogging again. That is one of many New Years Resolutions, anyway. I have much to catch up on! Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season. Happy New Year!

RCN SUCKS!!!!!!!

This cable company is the WORST company I have EVER encountered in my life! They are WORTHLESS!! If you ever move to a city that has RCN, do not, I REPEAT, DO NOT use them. You will waist countless hours of your life dealing with problems and waiting on the phone! I blame my complex for tricking us into using them. They will also be hearing from me as well!

Sorry, I just needed to vent!

My cousin Golriz came from Tucson, AZ to visit us the second week of August! We toured the whole city, went shopping and spent some time with her friend Phil, who also lives here! Even though the weather was mostly cloudy and/or rainy during her visit, we still managed to have a wonderful time hanging out!

We've been very busy this last month, so as usual, the blogging has taken a back seat, especially when I have Facebook and My Space keeping me occupied! I have lots to catch up on and will get to it soon!

Quick Updates

I know I hadn't blogged in a while and I'm not one to drag things on, so here are some quick thoughts and updates....

* I had a break from school for a month, but had to start again yesterday. :(

* I did something to my back in May, which has caused me severe pain, so I've been to the doctors 4 times about it and now I have to see a physical therapist 3 times a week. :(

* Good news is, I'm getting better. :)

* Went to see Sex and the City at the theater and loved it for the most part, but was a bit upset they cut Aiden's scenes out of the movie and had such a big part for Jennifer Hudson all together! (Read the part about Aiden in my July Marie Claire.) :0

* I went to the dentist for a cleaning and as luck would have it, I have a cavity on all 4 wisdom teeth. Been there twice already and still need to go back! :( I hate the dentist!

* I am still really upset about the tomato shortage due to salmonilla! I need my Roma tomatoes back ASAP!

* Aside from all the above, the weather has been gorgeous here and I'm THRILLED it's summer!!!! YAY!!!!! :)

On Sat afternoon, we took D kayaking on the Charles River, which is something I've always wanted to do! We kayaked to the city and back and then went to Emily's house for a BBQ. It was the perfect summer day!

Damien's Visit - Take 4

Damien came to visit us again this past Thurs for the weekend. All I can say is he must really like us! ;) Rowdy had to work on Fri, so D and I had some sushi downtown and walked around the city before we had to meet Rowdy and Bill for a Red Sox game.

I also realized this is the 3rd time in a row Rowdy's been wearing the same shirt. He just really likes it I guess, but he does have other clothes, I promise!!!

New York Trip

4th of July weekend, Rowdy and I made trip to NYC for quick getaway. I've seen everything, but Rowdy still hadn't really seen some of the sights. We took a boat ride to the Statue of Liberty, took another Trolley ride and then walked around during our stay.

Bill had a BBQ at his house earlier that afternoon. We watched Boston fireworks show on the Cambridge side and then went out dancing after. I lost the rest of our party to the dance floor, so these were the only pics I could capture.

AND yes, Tammi, that is a Dayton Dragons visor on Rowdy's head! He loves that thing!

An old friend of ours from back in Cheyenne days, Demetrius, made a quick trip in Boston(June 28th) with his friend, so Rowdy and I met him out for a beer to catch up! It's always great to see familiar faces!

We flew to Vegas May 8-12, along with 20+ other of Jamie and Jake's friends and family, to surprise Jamie for her 30th birthday! Jake has been planning for months and it went off without a hitch! WOW, did we get her!! I couldn't get a picture of her face, but Jamie was BEYOND shocked and excited!! We spent the next few days celebrating and had a fabulous time!!!

Quick Updates!

Sorry my blogs are short! I've been really busy with work, school and fun, so unfortunately blogging has been taking a back seat!

4. Found lots of stuff to donate to Big Brothers/Big Sisters :)

5. It was 85 degrees yesterday and 75 today!!!!! :)

Jeff and Erin Visit Beantown!

My friends Jeffrey and Erin came to Boston with their families to see Erin's sister run the Boston Marathon! I was really excited to hang out with them for a couple of those days! We had a blast!
