When we got to Ft. Collins we met up with Brian and Mandy. We hadn't seen them in over a year since they moved from Cheyenne back to Atlanta! We were so excited to see them. It felt like no time went by! Then we headed to Susan's parents house for a party after the reheasal, where we saw James, Susan, Rob and Everyone else! We met all their friends, family and Beezer(What a RIOT!!!!!) It was SO much fun!

Melissa and Jeremy's house

Melissa drove me to her house in the morning so I could nap and visit with Jeremy. Their place is really nice. We went to lunch and I got to ride in Jeremy's stylin new truck. It's a smooth ride! It was a short visit with them but they are going to come to Boston so we can go to Martha's Vineyard....right Melissa!? hee hee

Rowdy left for James's bachelor party in Denver so I stayed in Cheyenne to visit with more friends. I also went to see the house we used to live in. It was sad! I love that house. I sat on the porch thinking of all the great and some not so great times we had there. When I was done reminiscing I went to Keelee and Lou's to see their new golder retriever puppy and drink some mohito's, then headed back to Jamie's so we could go see Samantha's baby room. Jamie, Samantha and I later met Tammi, Tanner, Baby Evan, Kim, Melissa and Keelee for dinner at Good Friend's Chinese Restaurant. Since Melissa was driving me to Ft. Collins early the next morning, we couldn't make it a long night, but just long enough to watch Keelee clean a POOPY present her puppy decided to leave her. Poo and all it was a perfect time in Cheyenne!

Our next destination was Cheyenne. We went straight to Jake and Jamie's house for a wonderful dinner and some brew with Samantha, Brian and Baby! It was so surreal to be back. It really felt like we never left. We were grateful that Jake and Jamie invited us to stay with them since they are moving to Florida next month and are busy trying to sell their home. Thank you for the hospitality!

VACATION

Rowdy and I are in Colorado for James and Susan's wedding, which is today! We've been in the area since Monday the 29th. We flew into Denver and spent a couple of days in Colorado Springs, then went up to Cheyenne, and now we're in Ft. Collins. I'm actually glad to be back here although it feels like I never left. It was also nice to catch up with friends we haven't seen in a long time. We're heading back to Boston tomorrow.

A night on the town in Harvard Square

My friend Keelee came to visit on Aug 17-21. We had a GREAT time! We went to Harvard and shopped in Harvard Square, experienced a duck tour www.ducktours.com which took us around Boston and in the Charles River, went shopping again in Downtown Boston, had a Lobster Dinner, and managed to suck back a few cocktails in between.

Went home on July 29th - Aug 9th for my sister's wedding(Aug 7). I hadn't been home for almost 2 years. It's amazing how fast time goes by. Anyway...... It was a very lovely wedding at the Top of the Met in St Louis www.topofthemet.com. There was a view of all St. Louis including the Cards Game! My mom surprised everyone with a belly dancer after dinner. Open bar + Belly Dancer = Dancing Drunk Husband! It was one of the best times I've had with family and friends! I was especially happy that my Grandmother was well enough to come. I know it made everyone else in my family happy as well.

Playing catch up!

Sorry...still trying to figure how everything works on the blog! I finally got photos, although the format is screwed up. I'll get better. Anyway....Those were pictures of Melissa's trip from July 21-25. We went all over the city and had a BLAST!

I'm gonna try and catch up on the blog over the next couple of days.

FINALLY!

Alright....i haven't done a good job of keeping up but I'll do my best from now on. I can't promise pictures yet because my laptop has a virus and my desktop sucks!

We've finally settled in Boston...well...actually Arlington, which is about 20 minutes from the downtown and a bit longer if you take public transit. I love the public transit though! I never knew what I was missin! I've only driven a couple of times this month.

I had 2 friends visit so far this summer. Melissa in July and Keelee in Aug. We had a great time. It gave me the excuse to tour the city and figure out where I was going! There is so much to do here, but it can get alittle expensive. That's why I'll do a lot of things when I have visitors. We will have our next visitor in Oct. I'll go into more detail when I figure this blog thing out. My friend Keelee set it up for me before I left Cheyenne. Hopefully I'll be caught up soon.
