Lastest News
Well, my mom has an appointment on Monday morning and most likely they'll admit her right away for surgery. She's not suppose to drive, excercise, or do anything really. She's getting really bored and because she's so stubborn, I have to call and check on her to make sure she's in bed and not out running around like usual. She doesn't want me to fly to St. Louis, so I'm going to hold off on going home for right now. She's going to be fine and I'm confident she'll be back to her old self in no time. I'm doing much better now too especially after doing research on this problem! Thanks for all the prayers!

News
Well, I haven't really been on the up and up for the last couple of days! My mom went in for a cat scan and they found a chronic subdural hematoma, which is a blood clot in the brain caused by head trauma. They need to remove it asap at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis. I'm just waiting to find out when, so I can go to St. Louis. I'll update when I can.

HAPPY MONDAY!
Well for some odd reason, I'm up exceptionally early this morning! That would be 5:30am Rocky Mountain time. I swear, I've had the hardest time transitioning to the East Coast Time Zone. Hopefully, this means I'm getting used to it.
Anyway, We didn't do much this weekend. Rowdy watched sports and I peeled and ate pomegranates. Exciting, I know! It's just so darn expensive to go out! What used to be an all the time thing, has now turned into a luxury! Did I mention since we've lived here, Boston is now the most expensive city to live!! Yes, YES, Just my luck!

Mr and Mrs Ryan Jaggi
Our friend Ryan Jaggi got married September 17th in St. Louis to his lovely, longtime girlfriend Cyndi! We are so thrilled for them. Unfortunately we weren't able to make it, but our friend Jon Krepps just sent us pictures and it looks like we missed a beautiful wedding and a great party! Cyndi looked stunning and Ryan was handsome as usual.
CONGRATULATIONS!
Krepps flew in from England to be in the wedding and he looks great! Europe seems to be treatin him well. Can't wait to visit!

Lost/Reunion
Rowdy wanted me to sit down and watch the recap and the season premiere of the show LOST with him and now I'm HOOKED! I actually wouldn't have done it, but because I read Samantha's blog about it today, I decided to give it a shot and I'm so glad I did. Now I understand why it won best Drama series at the Emmy's! I was starting to get bummed that I couldn't find any shows that I liked. The new series Reunion also looks like it's gonna be good. I watched the premiere and really liked it!(comes on after the OC Thurs). It's full of scandal!

It's POMEGRANATE SEASON!!!!!!
I am ECSTATIC that it's Pomegranate season!!!!! It's my favorite fruit in the whole world! Unfortunately you can only find it in most places starting the end of Sept-Nov. Rowdy surprised me today from the store with a couple. It's hard work to eat, but well worth it! I'm heading to Whole Foods tomorrow to buy as many as I can, since I'm sure they'll have the best picks for ME! They are expensive but I DON'T CARE! Happy Days!
NEW SEASON OF OPRAH!!!!!
I was soooo excited that it was the new season of OPRAH today!!!!! I love that I got tivo so now I never have to miss one! I'm gonna try AGAIN to get tickets this season even though I've failed so many times in the past. I'm on a serious mission people! My friend Damien lives in Chicago and I'm making it his mission to get tickets for me as well! If he doesn't try hard....then I will B-E-A-T him( lovingly, of course)!!!!! If I do get tickets....I'm dragging Rowdy with me since he's making me go to a New England Patriots game this season. I don't think that's too much to ask!

Lesson Learned.....Back it up!
I have a virus or spyware on my laptop and I can't seem to get it off(even though we have all the preventable measures to keep that from happening)!!!!! I've tried everything to get it off! I've spent many patient nights trying to get all my documents and pictures saved to disk, which WASN'T EASY, but luckily I was able to, otherwise I would have lost everything!!! Not a happy camper! From now on I'm backing everything up IMMEDIATELY! I just have a message to all the people that create or cause the virus's or spyware to happen! " Get off your lazy A$$ and do something productive!" Sorry, just had to get that off my chest! I feel much better now.
Weekend of Sports
Well both of Rowdy's teams(Oakland A's-Florida State) were in Boston this weekend. He really wanted to go to the games, but Florida State/Boston College tickets were in the $300's for 1 ticket(which is INSANE!!!) and the baseball tickets were sold out, not to mention just as expensive. I had to put my foot down. I also didn't feel comfortable rooting for another team other than the Boston teams in public since they take their sports really seriously (Rowdy got flipped off one day in the car because he was wearing his A's cap). Anyway...we stayed in and watched the games at home! I don't see us really going out much or getting anything accomplished on the weekends now that Football started.... YAY... FUN FOR ME! Yes, I'm being sarcastic!!!!

Phone Issues
The strangest thing is going on with our home phone line. Every time someone calls, we can hear the person calling and an additional dial tone. When we dial out....we dial more than one person not to mention we are recieving other people's phone calls with those people answering at the same time with an additional dial tone. Confused? Yeah, me too! I called the phone company (RCN) and they said I needed to get new phones. WHAT?!#$@. How is that a solution to the problem when my phones are working just fine! I've called and called but same thing from every customer service rep. They acted as if I'm putting them out by calling with a problem. "Well....if you would purchase new phones then we could eliminate that as one of the issues." Then the technical service people got on and said they merged two lines together on accident and are sending someone to fix it. FINALLY! Just what I wanted to hear....it's their problem, not mine! Problem should be fixed by Wed. I guess it doesn't matter what part of the country you live in. Phone company's are a RIP and there's nothing we can do about it! My cell phone is also on it's last leg! I have to wait a couple more weeks so I can get a new phone without shelling out a couple hundred for one. Rowdy also left his charger in San Diego so if we don't answer it's because we have no source of communication with the outside world! What's a girl to do?!

Home Alone
Well....Rowdy's in San Diego this week for work and I'm all by my lonesome(except for my kitties, of course)! I'm jealous! I have to start looking for a job since summer break is OFFICIALLY over. This doesn't thrill me. I'd rather just stick to my "lady of leisure" title. HAA HAA who am I kidding......it was nice while it lasted!
Thank you!
I just wanted to say thanks to all of you for going out of your way to make this a great visit back for us and for inviting us to stay in your homes/or coming out to see us. Your hospitality was too gracious! I enjoyed my visit with each and every one of you and can't wait till we can do it again! Lots of love!!!
