Rowdy's comin' down the mountn' yes, he's comin' down the mountn'......here he comes!
Our first run down the slopes together(beginners, of course)!
After surviving my first run! I came down the middle one! YIKES!
Rowdy and his office got a choice to either work or take a day ski trip to Sunapee Ski Resort in New Hampshire. I guess you can figure out what he chose!! It was the first time I've ever been skiing(Rowdy had been only once, years ago) and We LOVED IT! ( I'm really trying not to remind myself that we lived near the Rockies for over 4 years and NEVER went skiing once!) Anyway, I'm proud to say that my very first trip down the slopes was the blue level(Not for beginners, that's for sure!!!!!) It was an accident, but I made it down with only a few spills. Sam, a guy Rowdy works with, was kind enough to guide me through the nightmare trail. By the end of the day, Rowdy and I were skiing like pros, but on the green level(for beginners) of course, and I actually made it down once without falling!!!! YAAAAY! That was my goal for the day and I didn't even have to take lessons or use the kiddy trail!!! We had a WONDERFUL time and I just love Rowdy's co-workers. They're all so fun!
So, yes, we are officially taking up skiing! We bought everything we need and can't wait till next ski season! Colorado here we come!
And by the way, this doesn't mean that I now love the cold and snow, it just means, I love skiing and that's the ONLY time I want to put up with it!
This is the man responsible for KICKING my butt the last couple of days and YES, I'm going back for more! He's AWESOME! I worked out muscles I didn't even know existed and it's only the first DVD! I would definitely recommend to anyone that wants a fun and stimulating workout!
I started watching WEEDS on Showtime " Video On Demand" this morning, because I woke up really really early and I'm already hooked! Luckily they've only had one season, so it didn't take long to catch up. It's REALLY funny! If you get Showtime, watch it but if not, you must rent the first season, especially if you're a teacher, lawyer, accountant, stay at home mom or drug dealer!

Went to dinner at Sonsie's on Newbury www.sonsieboston.com, with some girls for Dominique's Birthday! I ordered Mee Krob and let me tell you, it was DELICIOUS! I can't wait to go back for more! Dinner was a blast!
Anyway, after dinner, we decided to go to a club called Clery's. We were waiting in line........WHILE.......On the other side of town, at Faneuil Hall, Rowdy, Chris, Caroline, and Stephanie were trying to meet other co-workers at the Purple Shamrock. Turns out, it was IMPOSSIBLE to get in to any of their Irish bars ,so they left to meet us at Clery's.
We waited, for what seems like an eternity and still no Rowdy and crew. It was suppose to be only 4 people, so the bouncer was gonna, maybe, let them cut in line with us, but when they showed up with a total of 8, he said NO WAY! I decided to leave the girls behind to go next door with them to a Mexican Restaurant/Bar that wasn't busy at all. We stayed for awhile, then took a cab to Porter Square to have a drink at Christopher's, then went home. Caroline, Steph and I stayed up talking, Steph went home and Chris and Caroline stayed the night. All day Sat, we ate junk food in our Pj's, watched basketball and talked, and then they went home.

We met Chris and Caroline at Faneuil Hall for some dinner and drinks at the Purple Shamrock, an Irish Pub....then headed to the Comedy Connection, to see comedian Craig Shoemaker. He was SO damn funny!!! We laughed so hard, that our cheeks and stomach muscles were in pain!
Now it just has to get approved ....I'm sure it will be. Then he can apply for graduation. Until then he can just relax.(Stimpy's showing him how it's done!!!)
My cat Stimpy tried to watch with me on the couch, but got bored and fell asleep. I actually thought it was kind of boring this year too. Maybe because I've only seen 3 of the movies.

Spent the week looking for jobs and on Fri I had my first interview. It went very well and I have a second interview this Wed. I will definitely take this job if offered, but I won't hold my breath!
Sat we filled our bar and fridges with a TON of goodies and decided to have our first get together! It was great fun with a mix of new friends( some air force, some not). We partied till after 3am. Liam brought Karioke, and I feel sorry for the neighbors that had to listen to it! After the party Rowdy and I stayed up cleaning so we wouldn't have to do it in the morning and thank goodness we did!!!! By the way, those Chaser Hangover Pills DO NOT WORK!!!
